Paradox

Find your inner purpose
they say
and I can only think of how contradictory I am
a flowery lake under a hardened by fire and time
mineral layer 
and then 
there is nothing more sacred 
than forging a paradox 
taking a soft heart into hard politics 
and pouring it silently
through the cracks.
